Real Beryl

I know that the Beryl Project is fading from existence, but I still couldn’t help myself when I saw this enormous chunk of it at the Smithsonian.

    Great picture and great stone.

I HAVE to mention that this stone came from my natal city.

I saw on the picture that it is from Minas Gerais, my state. I used to live in Teofilo Otoni, the world capital of precious and semi precious stones.

If you some day visit brazil, let me know!

    See ya around!
